The purpose of the CTP (Cooperating Technical Partners Program) Web Mapping Project is to create an online GIS web mapping program for the 10 New Mexico Counties that were not updated during the Map Modernization (Map Mod) program. Sierra County was selected as the first participant due to its strong web presence, active emergency management, and presence of paper FIRMs for the entire county. Priority will be given to the remaining counties that were not updated during Map Mod and will be completed as time and funding allows.
